Shane Gray

Shane Gray is the Managing Director of Beyond Black & White Consulting and brings to the firm a wealth of experience gained through more than a decade in business and governmental roles. He is a jack of all trades whose primary focus is entrepreneurs and the not-for-profit sector. Shane has assisted many a small organisation to grow into the global economy, and to set-up and maintain effective business systems.

As a professional accountant with the National Institute of Accountants, Shane obviously has strong accounting and taxation skills but he also brings a passion for Corporate Governance, Information Technology and Environmental Sustainability to Beyond Black & White Consulting.

Shane's other major role is that of a professional non-executive director, and in that role he assists to guide a number of not-for-profit organisations. In this role he draws upon his technical expertise in corporate law & accounting, his close relationship with a number of tertiary institutions, and a broad network of like-minded colleagues and associates.

Outside of BBWC, Shane indulges his environmental focus by his involvement in a number of initiatives to assist the environment. This includes the This Sustainable House Project, an undertaking to show that one can still enjoy most of the trappings of the 21st Century without being an environmental vandal. He is also a ridiculously keen scuba diver though he claims not to be able to speak underwater with a mouthful of marbles.
